What is the GSGI Advisory Service?

One flat fee….one great advisor.

A consultancy* to advise parents, one-to-one, on choosing the best schooling for their children – even including the possibility that there are no good local options in that country. One way or another, they’ll be sure you have the information you need to make an informed decision - with as many facts in hand as possible.

GSGI advisors are all ex-pats, and all are parents or educators. Most of them have written the GSGI reviews themselves. They know the schools where they live, but they’ve also ferreted out the secrets of ex-pat survival in their host countries. Whether by email or phone, before you move or in person once you arrive, a GSGI editor can offer a lifeline (and make this move a lot more fun).

American parent moving to Hong Kong:  “Many thanks again for the generous amount of time you devoted to our conversation and my concerns.  I now feel as if I have made a huge step in the right direction.  Just knowing that I now have you and your team as a "life line" to help me through this educational adventure puts my mind at ease - almost like I have made the initial fixed cost in terms of research and mental energy [long term educational planning] and now I just need to worry about ongoing operations [schools for the immediate future]."

The Good Schools Guide International Advisors can give advice on:

o       Specific local schools

o       Educational overviews for a particular country

o       Cultural overviews (expat survival and life in the host country)

o       Other questions about moving overseas
